Five of us ( @Nitrodiver @texas30cal @kendelrio @TAZZJR ) escorted the KILO-19 march on Crystal Beach yesterday. The event is held every Memorial Day weekend, and it is always an honor to participate. The MV’s lead, followed by the walkers and then a parade of Jeeps.

The darnedest thing happened. This followed me home. It sounds like a cliche, but she actually ran when parked over 3 years ago. My plan is to get her running again for parades and static displays. We’ll see how the work/restoration continues from there.

I’ve never seen that type of a body on a Deuce. That’s pretty neat. I gather from this thread that it housed desalination equipment? Were there any other uses?
