    block heater

Any specifics on what you used to do this? Perhaps some pictures? I have been giving a heater some thought. My truck started fine when it was -2 below, but after a 20 mile drive, the heat still wasn't where I needed it to be (and I do block off the airflow in the front). I like the tank...

Single Fuel Concept Testing (Army Logistics) CUCVs included

I think they did that, from what I have read, because of the different lubrication requirements if the Arctic Kit is installed (upgraded seals?).

Single Fuel Concept Testing (Army Logistics) CUCVs included

I was in Afghanistan last year and they were using only two fuels, albeit off the flight line. Standard gasoline was available, although they were really pushing to ween all entities off of it by 2017. The other fuel was some sort of diesel mix and I had thought it had been shifted to TS1...

    only in Oregon?

Yeah, I grew up in Jersey and pumping your own fuel is a no-no. Funny, but as stated above, there are still quite a few folks from Jersey that don't even know where to put the fuel in, let alone how to operate the pump. Sad.

    Autozone Discount

I don't mind when folks post about their experiences buying parts. That what this site is all about, helping each other. There is some good advice being put out and a lot of different opinions o everything. One just has to take it all in, let the dust settle and make a choice on a way...

Cucv fuel filter replacement or not?

Also, you can fill the stock filter with fuel too and although it won't be 100% full, it does make starting it easier.

    Autozone Discount

Don't know if anyone needs parts, but AutoZone has a nice promo right now (till the 19th). 20deal10 for 20% off a "ship to your home" order. Needs to be over $100, but there is also free shipping AND a $10 gift card. Not a bad deal !! Put my order in this morning.

Leak at top of brake pedal

RGR Rick, It says available on the site, but when you go to purchase it the site gives a no-go. Called customer service and they said they are not presently available. They will call/email and let me know what the story is going forward in 24-48 hours.

Leak at top of brake pedal

OK, went to order the Hydro-boost section from AutoZone and the part is unavailable right now. Called NAPA and got the same story. AutoZone said they will get back to me in 24 to 48 hours and let me know when (if) the part will be available again. What a Bummer.

    Trans fluid on back tailgate.

Thanks Rick. Yeah, it is the new one and RGR on the master cylinder. I'll check AutoZone and NAPA and see if they have the booster. I checked this site and it doesn't seem like too big a deal to replace, a one day job, if that.

    Trans fluid on back tailgate.

Nothing leaking underneath, very clean and relatively dry.

    Trans fluid on back tailgate.

Just got back from a round trip to NH. I had a lot of fluid all over the back tailgate when I got back to CT. I have made several long trips with this truck and have gotten a little bit of fluid on the tailgate, but I thought I read somewhere that it is fairly common and nothing to worry...

Leak at top of brake pedal

Hi All, So I just got back from a quick trip to NH and when cleaning up the truck I noticed a few things. For this thread, I noticed that there was brake fluid leaking down into the footwell, coming from the piston attached to the brake cylinder. It is a fairly serious leak, but I still have...

    Nebulous, M1009

Project looks good !! Do you remember what you got these seats out of? Did the seat base come from the donor vehicle too? What mods did you have to accomplish to the bases to make them fit? And one last question.....Do those seats recline? Thanks !

    My New M1009

That is a bummer Rick, hope all is good. Whoever buys your stuff will get a good product. I'll save my dollars as I still am interested in the sleeper in the barn.
