    Simp's M920 build thread

Dumb question: What does a rail pressure gauge measure? What is rail pressure?

    Low/no oil pressure

@simp5782, thank you, sir! That is so simple even a m715mike can do it! ha ha

    Low/no oil pressure

Wes, where do you get the parker pushlok fittings and hose? Can you buy that at a local parts store, or do you get it online?

    Oil pressure averages

I know this is an old thread... I've read a few of them. It seems that low oil pressure is common on the 8.3L. I have the opposite problem. I fired-up the M936A2 yesterday. It idled for a few minutes with the gauge showing 60 psi of oil pressure at cold idle. After a few minutes of idling...

anyone ever moved a steering tube "up" on an m35a2 dash panel?

I have never sat in a spring seat, only box seats. I’m 6’1” and have no trouble fitting comfortably (read plenty of leg room) on the box seat. Now, pain in my lower back after a long drive is a different story.

    It's been a long time

@anjay22, welcome back to SS. I hope you and your family are doing well! I bet your kids have grown quite a bit. Don’t think I’ll be much help locating an engine, but remind me, is it going in a M35A2?

What did you do to your M939 today?

I finally got some quality time in with the M936A2 this weekend. I finished installing the alternator that I got from @74M35A2, replaced the serpentine belt with NAPA Part #25-080680 and installed two new 6TL batteries (NAPA Part #BAT 7265). Out with the old and in with the new>>>>...
