Steel Soldiers MV of the month 2020 - July VOTE HERE

LMAO... I’ve been waiting for someone to mention the garbage dumpster!!! Depending on the picture you are looking at, you either saw the garbage dumpster or noticed the missing radiator. I’ve got a new radiator in my shop waiting for this project.

    MRAP tires

What kind of tires do you have? I’ve got Goodyear MVT 395s. I’m comfortable in the 60-70 psi range with an empty truck. I’ve read other posts where guys swear by lower tire pressures (~30psi). I tried that not long after getting my truck and it scared me. There was too much give in the tires...

Official 2019 Steel Soldiers Georgia Rally (19SSGR) - Georgia Military Vehicle Rally

That just begs so many questions about the society we live in today — all of which I’ll avoid in this forum. Instead, may I offer a suggestion... in lieu of protesting the color of the sky, why not protest vehicles painted anything other than OD, camo or tan!

1953 REO Deuce Joins the Farm Motorpool

Sir, I don’t want to highjack your thread, but I have the same mud flaps on my REO Deuce. I thought that was normal until I started meeting other Deuce owners (same thing with the box driver’s seat and wide front fenders).

Steel Soldiers MV of the month 2020 - July VOTE HERE

Well, @Tracer, the answer is not yet. I ran a few errands on Sunday and planned to stop by the M810 for some pictures. As I got close, it started pouring (remnants of Hurricane/TS Hanna). There’s something about this truck and heavy rain. On the flip side, it’s still dry inside the water...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Sure, I get that two new toilets will fit in the back of your Deuce for the ride home, but what are you going to do with two new toilets in the guest bathroom? His and her thrones? Oh yeah... and that is a great picture of a good looking Deuce!

Steel Soldiers MV of the month 2020 - July VOTE HERE

Okay, to recap my posts in this thread, we know that I bought the M810 water truck from a friend of mine in May of this year. We also know that he kept the truck in a shed, and Wes hauled it home for me on a very rainy day. So what's the back story? Well, I'm glad you asked.... My friend...

Hi Brian. I run gear oil in mine. My transmission does not like lighter weight oil. I would recommend staying with the gear oil. -Michael
