New update, LOL....I'm leaving home now. Worked on the dually all day yesterday, Did an oil and filter change on engine and trans. Greased the front end and rechecked fluid levels. Cleaned the windshield and top of with fuel. Loaded the back with extra fuel and tools.
So now its time to get...
Update on trip. I won't be able to leave until Tuesday night late or early morning on Wed. Sorry, I won't be able to transport any other Items. I will be going up I-95 and back only. More to follow....
No I didn't, I will be buying a compression tester for a 6.5L before I pull the engine. Just so I know what the readings will be. Then, I'll pull the head and see if a valve is bad or ?.
Update.....the CUCV-II that I was going to use to pull the gooseneck trailer will need more engine work(maybe a new head or valve job), so I will be using my CUCV M1028A2 Dually with a 6.5L / Banks Turbo. It will be a slower ride and will use a lot more fuel.

Update....Changing out the lifters didn't work. Started it up early this morning with my fingers crossed. Still popping out the intake. Next step will be pulling the engine and removing the head to see what happen. :(

Worked on the CUCV-II today, I pulled the lifters out of the #1 cylinder and replaced them( not that hard to do with the heads still on ). Replaced the injectors also. Just put the valve cover back on and the wife said it's dinner time. Hope to get ths running soon so I can go pickup my CUCV-II...

I would say yes Will, it will work on a 923 or 925. It is the older type kit. It has the tarp with the rope instead of the rubber tie downs and your kit will have two end curtains that tie to the first and last bows. The newer covers are all in one.
