When I won my CUCV-II at Barstow back in 2011, I had Mark Riddle [100dollarman] Pick it up and hold it for me until I could make the trip from south Florida. He stored it for over three months. His email is [100dollarman.com@gmail.com]. I still have his cell number if you need it.
Good guy to...
You said you load tested the batteries...You need to disconnect both batteries and load test each one with a Battery Load Tester. A battery can have a short inside...they will show full voltage until you hit the ing switch. If the batteries pass a load test with a load tester then you may need a...
I have a hard copy of TM 9-4940-562-13 and is shows the shop equipment compartment identification and location of tools with their NSN on pages F-2 to F-16.

See post #62 and #63...just fixed mine last week.
CUCV-II is still broke. Just have not had the time to work on it. Maybe this weekend.
I just did a turn-and-burn of 20 hour yesterday to pickup two new windshields for one of our M915A5's. We tried ordering them but they keep coming in broke. I left West Palm Beach at 3AM and got back at...
I have 2 tents in the crate and 2 frames(the 16x16) that need to go from Florida zip 33066 to Billings, MT zip 59105. Should be two pallets at about 800 lbs total wt. Let me know if anyone out there is making a trip.
Got it off ebay, the guy is sold out now. There is another one that is around $9.00 shipped. Do a search: "TH400 Governor"
I tried the auto parts stores with no luck...a good transmission shop should have them.
Got the governor repair kit in the mail today..big $8.99 shipped. I also bought a complete NOS governor that is being shipped now.
As you can see the teeth are shot on the old part. Drive the pin out and re-drill a hole in the plastic gear and should be good to go. Going to install it now and...
The dually didn't want to shift out 1st gear today, so I pulled the Governor assembly out of the side of the TH400 transmission. As you can see in the pictures the plastic gears are shot. Should be a cheap fix.
Those MEP-002 and MEP-003 phase switchs are a pain to replace. It happens when someone turns the knob with the power on. The contacts melts inside.
I would change out the hole box. I saw a few sold on GL not to long ago...good luck.
Update:
M-Gator has been picked up and is in good hands...thanks to Gary(yamabro). Just in time too, Gary said the people at the site wanted to remove the tow hitch from the rear of the gator.aua
Have another SS member heading down to Florida next week from the M-Gator location in TN.
Kenny, I will be making a trip next week up to Jacksonville, FL and maybe the week after that.
I'm looking at a crown vic up in NC also...who knows. Maybe a trip will happen.
