    looking for this TM 9-2320-361-10

Do you have a link stating this because I just did a search and it brings up manuals. It will only open manuals coded A. I have both the 1988 and 2006 version of the manual asked about and the 1988 is coded C and the 2006 is coded A.

Early AMG data plates and contract #'s

I'd recommend posting your question on the www.g838.org site. This site is dedicated to the 151 jeeps and there is a gentlemen over there with the user name muttguru that you can contact and he might be able to help with your contract number question. If you have the original data plate and can...

Early AMG data plates and contract #'s

All the replacement data plates are made with fill in the blank lines. The only way you will be able to get an exact copy of your old plate is to find someone that can do it but it won't be cheap. There was an individual a few years ago that was going to start producing these plates with the...

Need new fuel pump for M151A2

Fuel Pump Okay, when I posted this it was a cut and paste for another sites WIKI. The pump you want is an Airtex 60577. Autozone has them for 19 bucks. These are mechanical pumps used on 1960's era Plymouth Valiant. The only difference is that you won't b eable to ford a river with the civilian...

Hey wheelspinner, What did you do in the force? I was an aircraft mechanic and retired in 2005. When did you call it quits?

    Bell 47 Helicopter - Australia

The guy is in his late 80's and is asking 15-20K probably because he is done with flying and is trying to retire. All though you have no intent on flying it, you should plan on keeping it airworthy. One day you may decide to sell and it will be worth more $$ in an airworthy condition. My advise...

    1954 M37 Engine Bay

Most likely the engine is from a civilian power wagon of the era. Check the head on the forward drivers side for T245 in the beginning of the number. If it doesn't start with it, then it is a civilian block.

    Heath's M35A2... the beginning

Did the gentlemen that sold you the truck get it from GL or a private party? Who ever applied the tan paint didn't do a good prep job. The truck will look real nice when your done, keep up the good work.

    Bell 47 Helicopter - Australia

Your best option is to find a reputable aircraft mechanic and have him do a pre buy inspection for you. He will know what to look for as far as documentation and overall condition. He should also be able to give you an idea as to the operating costs if you choose to keep it airworthy.

Want a Bonnet(Hood) Name for My Whistling Deuce???

If you just want a name, how about "Whistling Dixie?" It is a whistling deuce and Dixie refers to the southern part of the USA. Maybe paint an image of a confederate cavalryman charging on horseback with his sabre drawn. I think this would tie it together.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I walked past mine and thought I should probably start it. Yeah that didn't happen. Oh well maybe this coming weekend.

    Emissions standards & imports

I believe that as long as the vehicle is over 25 years old it is exempt from the emissions and Federal Safety Standards requirement. I don't think the CNG conversion will be an issue. The best thing to do is get in touch with customs and tell them what you are trying to import. Whatever they...

My "new" deuce, '71 Jeep M109a3

Wow!!!!!!!!!! So you drove a truck this size on the highway 146 miles knowing it didn't have brakes. You do realize that had you been involved in an accident and killed someone, your actions could have brought this hobby into a negative light. As a result the government could have changed its...

What are all these mounts on the side of the bed?

It could have been a brush truck for a local fire department at one point. Those brackets on the front of the bed look like steps used to climb inside.
