I never got it together before dark. While I was off doing work on a totally different project I ran into a old Army mechanic and he's bringing over some gauges and gonna learn me something.

There are numerous times we've told members the axle tags or engine mfg dates (and any other part mfg date) doesn't mean squat. The only sure way to determine mfg date for civilian registration purposes is to look at the serial number...
Do we have a drumming fingers smiley?
Some of these questions could have been resolved by reading post 1 on the VIN INFO thread. How many times have I told people, frame number counts not the dash plate and that registration numbers(what some people call hood numbers) have NO civilian...
As you can see, I had a leak between the back 2 cylinders on the head gasket.
Need to know if I will require grinding of the head and/or cylinders. If possible, I want to slap this back together until I get a spare engine I can rebuild and swap.
I was hoping to make it over with the seats from ATD but won't be over until August. Think you can have the next meeting in early August? Either the 3rd or the 10th? I brought more seats back than necessary in case someone wanted some but I only plan on bringing to SATX what I have requests for.
OK, PATRACY got it corrected on post #1 so now even if they change their http address, info will be there to find BINCS. Thanks for the heads up and it's working now.
