    Humvee Fuel Pump

Just for knowledge, if the diaphragm ever leaks in the fuel pump, it will push fuel into the vent system and will fill your hubs, transfer case.ect....had it happen a few times in Iraq.

How to get my 6.2 to run more smoothly?

You may have water in your fuel system also. Water could of went into the Injector Pump and then to the Injectors. Happen on one of my M1028's.

    100k Coming

It all depends on how much time and money you have. Like "axlr8" said. Do the wheel bearing, brakes, U-Joint, change the oil in the diffs. If the engine is good (no blow-by)you might want to change the injectors and maybe the injector pump also. Or pick-up one of the 6.5L HMMWV engines and do...

    U Joint replacement problem

Glad everything is working out for you. I have to use a "grease fitting adapter" sometimes to fit in those tight places.2cents

    U Joint replacement problem

DavidJBlythe, Do you have a M1009 or a 1 ton pickup? The TM (20P and 34P)list the same part number for both types, 3/4 and 1 ton. THE TM IS WRONG. Part# 7806140 is only for the 3/4 ton(M1009) I took pictures of both U-Joints, as you can see the caps are different sizes. Two pictures of the...

    Dually M1028A2, South Florida Rebuild

The Dually sounds good with just a straight pipe on the exhaust. Hear it here: I have to move a lot of suff to get it out of my back yard. Road test later this week.

2000 CUCV-II SWR Axle Swap to Dually ?

Well the 1997 dually axle for $200 with tires that was close by didn't work out. The seller didn't know the axle ratio so I passed on it and someone else got it. I had another lead on a 1995 1 ton dually axle with 4.10 gears in Knoxville for $500(cash only). Came with springs/tires/rims/front...

2011 Ga Rally Florida Convoy thread

Not sure if I have to work that weekend or not. If I'm off, I plan on pulling out Wed or Thurs morning and meeting you guys up on I-75. I'll be driving my CUCV-II with the gooseneck trailer. Maybe with the CUCV M1028A2 Dually on top of the trailer. I have a lead on a 1997 Chevy Dually bed up...

    Dually M1028A2, South Florida Rebuild

I was thinking of installing one of my Milemarker Hyd 10,000 lb winch's on my Dually. I would make it so you could mount it on the front or the rear using the tow hooks as a mounting point. Run long Hyd hoses to the rear with quick release fittings. Quick release fitting up front also. I just...

    Dually M1028A2, South Florida Rebuild

While I had the drive shaft off and the U-joint being the weakest point in the system now, I went ahead and replaced the U-joint, caps and screws. It was a pain to press out one of the caps. Looks like the end of the driveshaft was dropped and the top lip was dented so the cap would not come...
