If you have a 24v charger just connect it to the slave cable and plug the cable into the truck port.
Make sure the polarity is correct. I'll be doing it soon myself.
I was looking for the door window crank for my M915A1 and had tried buying some handles off Ebay with no luck. @NDT suggested I look for '70s era car window cranks for GM products.
Turns out I picked a 1974 Chevy Impala window crank. Perfect fit. I hear this will work for other trucks that...
You may think this is stupid but start at the batteries and clean the terminals, then work through any and all grounds. Check each connection for the lights, even the ones working. Check the voltages and the charging voltage. There isn't a lot to the wiring on an M809 series.
How about a heads up next time Phil. If I drank coffee I would have spit it all over the place reading your last line. :)
(I've seen it 3 times and twice just last week.)

I read my Hagerty policy the last time something like this came up. It clearly states that you can occasionally use the vehicle for its intended purpose. That is what I do.
Based on the comments in this thread I would say that the rally has reached the end of its life. It may show up later as just a weekend that a bunch of MV owners show up somewhere but nothing official and certainly nothing by Clinto.
No one stepped up and I'm sure that our society being so...
If you had ever been to one of the Haspin rallys you wouldn't think burning waste motor is that remarkable. Throw a gallon jug on a bonfire. ;-)
My Brother took his Dodge with a 6BT to a guy in Columbus, IN to have him tune it. The guy worked at the Cummins plant locally and had written a...
More than slightly bummed out that I spent the weekend in the hospital due to my 161st, 162nd and 163rd kidney stones with lots more on the way.
I did get entertained when the nurse (female) had to examine my junk in front of my wife. Neither seemed to care and at least one of them wore gloves...
When I read about your trip I thought, why in the heck would anyone want to break about that many tires to put TPMS sensors on. Then I learned that they make TPMS that are external to the tire. Duh.
Thanks for contributing to my daily knowledge. :)
Good luck on the trip. My first truck...
Looking at all the pretty colored wires I would rip it all out and leave this:
I didn't see any pics for wattage or resistance in the pics but you can disconnect one and measure to get the OHMs value. THe count them up and use the number to divide into the total of the unit's rating to get...
Must be darn big switches.
Depends on how long you want to run the load on it whether you need fans or not. I run my HF battery tester until it glows. YMMV
I say this never having tried one but it should not make a difference whether you input 60Hz or 400Hz into a pure resistive load bank. If all you need is the load then wire it up without anything other than the resistive bank.
