    M101A2 Wheel/Tire Upgrade?

I’m not all that familiar with the 101 A2 but I had a 101 at one point. The Lunette on my 101 had a dog leg bend and it could be flipped over to change the hitch height. Does anyone know if the Lunette from a 101 would fit on the 101A2?

    Battery Box Slides

Wow, those are some heavy duty slides! I used a pair of 300 lb rated slides for my propane tanks on the M934 “motor home”. They look like toys next to these. on another note, how have you been? We haven’t seen you in these parts for some time. It’s good to hear from you…

    Flat glass windshield installation

Do you have a Henderson Auto Glass shop in your area (Not sure if they are a national franchise) That is who made and mounted the windshield for our M151. They did a good job and as I remember it, it wasn’t very expensive. BTW, what are you building? You have my curiosity up…

What did you do to your trailer today.

Build a box on that trailer and you’ll have a place to store your 715 and 101… A mobile garage.

WA Hagerty comes through - again

Another insurance that I have is with my home owners. It’s a $1M umbrella policy. It covers whatever the auto or homeowners doesn’t cover. So if someone gets huts falling off my MV at a show and they sue me, this policy covers it above whatever my homeowners would cover. This applies to someone...

Once you use gas with your MiG you will through out the flux core wire. Not only is it cleaner you get better welds. Get some scrap sheet metal and practice “stitch welding”. Be sure the steel is clean and free of any paint. Eastwood sells a rust encapsulating under coat in a rattle can that has...

    Hello from southern Missouri

Welcome to Steel Soldiers! Man, I wish this truck could talk. I’m sure it has a very colorful history. The brush guard is a give away. I think there is no doubt it’s a military truck. I’m no expert on WWII vehicles but there are plenty of folks here that are. Now just sit back and read all about...

Squibbly's M1009 and other Questionable Projects

Now for the stupid question, which IS my strong suit, if these bolts are prone to vibrating loose, why not use lock tight to keep them tightened to spec? I use lock tight a lot when I want to be sure my fasteners are going to stay put. When using nuts and bolts, my first choice is to use nyllock...
