That's sounds like it could work. I'll contact you as soon as my EUC clears, hopefully the timing will be right.

A/M32K-4A Trailer from CA to KS

I'll be looking to ship a A/M32K-4A 4 wheel rough terrain flatbed trailer from Yermo, CA to Leavenworth, KS in the coming weeks after the EUC clears. Anyone have space, need a backhaul or know of a reputable economical hauler looking for a load in that direction?

    What is this lever for?

Is it a hidden battery cutoff? Look under the cab floor, what is on the other side.

    S-280 door peephole

It's funny after years of owning or being in and out of a number many different types of Uncle's shelters I've just never noticed any peepholes. Not saying they weren't there, I just never noticed or heard any remarks about them.

    Fort Riley Iron/GovPlanet crew

Bryan at Fort Riley was helpful and easy to work with. More than willing to help me out in the event things didn't go as planned. Thankfully everything went smooth during yesterday's pickup of a generator trailer. Thanks a lot to him and the other guy at Riley (didn't catch his name).

Ft Riley KS pick-up, some space available

Mission complete, no issues. I did learn that Riley isn't as far as I thought. If anyone needs a Riley pickup in the future I may be able to help. Too bad they're only open until 1500 during the week. I have early days from time to time so I'd accommodate if I could.

    S-280 door peephole

I've been in a lot of Army comms shelters and I don't ever recall a peephole. What system was mounted in the shelter or what was its original purpose?

That radio shelf will work just fine, as will the LS671.

    Humvee Radio

Are you going to kit out your vehicle to represent a specific unit or type of unit? If you intend to be accurate in depicting a HMMWV from a certain unit at a specific time I might be able to look up what system(s) they should have had installed.

    Humvee Radio

Assuming you're going for a US Army setup any configuration of SINCGARS would be correct. VRC-88, 89, 90, 91 or 92. RT-1523C was probably the most common RT in 2004, but RT-1523E ASIP may have been out in large numbers by then. Without research of when and where E models were fielded I'm just...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

You'll hear no argument from me. I like the looks of antennas as well. :goodjob: Where did you get it? I've been looking for just an AS-3449 element. I have one, but I need a pair for a project.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Looks good there. From the photo it looks like a AS-3449 EPLRS antenna. 420-450 MHz. Is it something else? Out of curiosity, what radio do you intend to use it with?

Need headsets to communicate w passengers in 5-ton

That isn't TOCNET. That looks like just one component. TOCNET is much more involved. TOCNET will interface with various vehicle mounted systems but the main component required to run TOCNET is a gateway CPU or "brain" of the system called a EMCSU or MCSU. A EMCSU or other flavor of MCSU are...

That is some beautiful countryside. Looks like a fun area.

    How to advance odometer?

When some trucks were rebuilt they just added a sticker or stencil near the speedometer that said add 41,000 miles or something like that.
