Remove your original 6.2 oil cooler fittings, insert bushings in the 6.5 block, then install the 6.2 fittings in the 6.5 block connect your cooler lines.

I have a 1997 6.5 in my 86 1028A3, the only thing I had to do was install bushings and screw in the 6.2 oil cooler line fittings into the bushings in the block. It all bolted right up.
I may be going out on a limb here, but I'll bet he is already working on getting them titled and registered, just saying, if you have 90k laying around in the first place. . . .
