    Pics of the motorpool

I had all the trucks out the other day and lined them up for a little motorpool inspection and photo op. They are; 53' Dodge M37, 67' Kaiser Jeep M715, and a 67' Kaiser Jeep M35a2. Enjoy!

    Selectro hub # for M37

I'm planning on putting a set of Selectro's on the M37 I just finished but need to figure out which part # they are. My shop is a Milemarker dealer and I can buy them direct, I just want to make sure I get the right ones. From looking in thier book I believe that they are the 11022-01 which...

Paint codes Vietnam era 24087 or 24084

And almost as cheap as house paint when you spread the Haz-mat charge over 4 gallons.

    Another M37 Recovery

Maxim, you do like a challenge don't you! If you need parts, I know Pierre Jalving in Holland has a few depending on what you need. I have to head down there on Monday to pick up some parts for my deuce. Otherwise look north and bug Lane. He has a stash of 37 parts that I got some pieces...

    M35A2 PLASTIC MODEL KIT (WANTED)

Also on a side note, the Revell M34 kit is a hard top truck. I cut the top off the one I built and plan to add it to one of the AFV Club m35s I have left to build. I have checked the fit and it is very close and should go on without major mods.

BEFORE and AFTER pics - post

I guess I should add some of the 53' M37 I did this past winter.

    M38a1 Bridge Plate

I thought that I read somewhere in a manual that 1/4 ton vehicles didn't use bridge wieght plates because the were the lightest class and could pass on any vehicular bridge that military had. There for no need to have them.

    M35A2 PLASTIC MODEL KIT (WANTED)

Yep. AFV Club has the best M35 series of vehicles in 1/35th They have the M35a1 Gun Truck "Nancy", the M35a2 Cargo, and the M49a2c. They can usually be found fairly easily on ebay or in modeling forums. Revell made a M34 model that can be found, but it is very light on detail compared to the...

    MV Day

Gimp will know what I'm talking about. It's a Cincy thing that I don't think you Browns fans would understand.

    MV Day

Gimp I'm dissapointed in you. I never figured you for a Gold Star type of guy. I am stricktly a Skyline person. There is nothing like coneys and a 3-way at 3 am on the way home from the bars. What size wheels are those on that 715? They look like someone recentered a deuce rim with...

Different Hood Stampings? & how no filler is ugly.

Tim, you'll find that with the swing out windows in the deuce there is no need to fold the windshield down for air flow. People give me odd looks when I tell them I have the air on.

    Finished the M37

Like I stated earlier in the post I don't think I'll have very many problems around here.

    Finished the M37

Re: RE: Re: ambers.. There are several MV vendors out there who sell paints. I use Army Jeep Parts out of PA. because they are the closest to me which means savings in the shipping.

    Finished the M37

Thanks Paul, I do have all the pics on my site, just follow the m37 link in my sig. line to get there. I do not have a lot of restoration pics, because this was a down and dirty quick resto job. I figure with the great shape the truck was in to start with I'll have at least 10 more years...

Different Hood Stampings? & how no filler is ugly.

Tim if you look in my pic you can see the typical dent from the windshield in the hood edge. But with some careful work it can be knocked out. Check out this close-up from the after.

Different Hood Stampings? & how no filler is ugly.

Tim are you talking about the dished out area along the sides of the hoods, like I have circled in my pic? If so, all the pics I have of deuces show it going all the way to the back edge of the hood. Maybe it has to do something with the fix up job some body did on your new hood.

    Finished the M37

Thanks everyone. :D Here is a pic of the M37 Dad drove while in Korea with the 226th ASA while on the Island of Kang Wha-do. Notice that it lacks the pioneer tool rack, which is why I have left it off the truck I restored. Also note that the truck in the pic is marked for the 277th ASA...

    Finished the M37

Nope, his had a shelter mounted in it. Here is some pics of it from 62-63. The holes in the side of my bed lool like they would match up with the config in your pic though. Plus at some point the front ant. was changed to a sugar scoop style mount on mine, as it matches the bolt spacing on...
