The 900's are roughly 40in tall, I didnt want to be that high in the air with this truck, and these where a direct bolt on. No adapters/spacers/custom work at all.
No rubbing, not even close. The skinny tires clear everything fine. As far as top speed, I haven't ran it with the gps so I am unsure. They measure out to about 33.5 in tall. They are 8 lug off of a p chassis Chevy. (chip truck)
Are you guys keeping your rear brakes adjusted correctly?? If not you can over work your fronts and warp them pretty quick. 14bolts are very notorious for being out of adjustment .
Also on the subject of warped rotors, remember to torque your lug nuts. Un-even torque will warp rotors too...
First, how the ****? Second. I have 1009 axles, and just got a set of 3/4 tons that would probably have better gears if your interested.
Ps, threads are not tapered
4l60 & 700r4 are the same just different names, the 4l60e is different. The later designation is more descriptive.
4- number of speed
L- Lonitude mounted
60- torque scale rating
4l60=700r4
th400=3L80
12kw 120-208 3ph 4wire.
There is also a large fan mounted on the top for the condensers, belive it is 5hp
That blower (blue fan) whould make a HeII of a super charger for something lol
Yea, wanna keep the frame and axles, Uh, as far as selling them whole..... not sure. I really want to keep the engines as I cannot seem to find parts for my l423 I could use these L634 in place.
Ill grab some more pics today. Still trying to find a way to recover the reffer.
