    M416 Trailer

(I'm reposting this, as I made an error in the title when I first posted it) A few years ago my buddy & I bought our first Mighty Mite. It came with a "free" M416 trailer! Now my buddy Rod was supposed to go to Marine Corps mechanic's school, but was changed to motor transport at the last...

My guess is fuel delivery issue...

I would suggest the cheap & simple spin-on primary filter as "designed" by BillW on this site.

No turn signals or brake lights!

Okay, I found the problems. No brake lights: Bad switch. Earlier, when I jumpered the plug to the brake light switch, soldier B (for Brenda) said the brake lights weren't on. I think she must have been on the sauce again, because when I tried that today they came on. No turn signals: Bad...

Tried a borrowed 3 lever switch. Still no brake or turn signal lights. Plan to work on it Saturday between paint coats.

No turn signals or brake lights!

No DH, I've been working a lot & haven't had time to work on it more. I did get an enlarged copy of the wiring schematic printed today, so that will help. I was going to try the switch from my other Deuce, then discovered it had problems too. I may try the switch from the 5 ton, as long as my...

No turn signals or brake lights!

Obviously power to 3 lever switch. Head, blackout, tail lights work. 3 Lever provides power to stop light switch.

No turn signals or brake lights!

I only have a little time to get my lights working. I'm hoping for some quick tips from you guys. Turn signals & brake lights quit about the same time, while driving to a parade. I have power to the brake light switch. Jumping the two wires to it doesn't light the lights. Does this feed THRU...

To paraphrase what someone on here said, "When a Deuce stops leaking, it's empty."

Best gasoline to use in a M38A1

I understand Fred Ropkey, at the Ropkey Armor Museum, has been running aviation gas in the older vehicles for years with no problems.

Is Sh. 40 PVC ok for remote brake res?

To test it, I put pieces of PVC pipe in jars of DOT 3 & DOT 5 for over 2 years with no sign of deterioration.

    Another spinon primary filter install

Just an update. Local CarQuest was able to get me the 24770 recently.

Is Sh. 40 PVC ok for remote brake res?

Just about anything that holds brake fluid may work. But a translucent reservoir as many others have used is really the best.
