Official Clare, Mi show swap meet wants and haves

Anyone have a set of GI M1911A1 grips? If so let me know with a price. We may be able to deal.

Official Clare, Mi show swap meet wants and haves

How much PDF foot? If I can afford it I would like to get enough to redo my cargo cover and my cab cover. I am probably going to show on Saturday. My son has to work on Saturday so we were thinking of going on Sunday.

How is the action on Sunday? Is everyone packing up early or does the exodus not happen until afternoon.

    Michigan MV Show & Swap 8-13, 8-14, 8-15

We always chocked vehicles in the military so I consider the chock block an authentic accessory. Mine even has a chain like we used. I turn it upside down and wedge it above the pioneer rack on the deuce and put the chain inside.

    Is this a C-47 or DC-3?

Kenny, The registration is below. It could be wrong but it has it as a DC-3. I had a flight on one a few years ago. I will try to post some video. It was a blast and pretty cheap compared to other warbird flights. Serial Number 15676/27121...

    Testing 12v Resistor

Check the troubleshooting section of the-20. IIRC you should have 3 ohms resistance with both sides disconnected from their connections.

    M35A2s in Vietnam? what year?

Beat me to it David. To elaborate the photo Katahdin posted had a registration number ending in 69. This dates it as a 69 as David pointed out above.

Things you see at the Beach

With the thread name I had expected to see a fat guy in a banana hammock. I would not have wanted to see it but just like a bad wreck, I could not look away.

Sprag or Air **** which is better.

Sprag has to start slipping for it to engage. You have to be somewhat stuck for it to start working. Airshift can be engaged before getting into trouble to keep you out of trouble.

    How to ID generators?

If he is not even willing to properly identify what he has to sell then I would say you should not deal with him anyway.

    CUCV gp temp sensor?

Now that I looked at the other thread I found someone else found a source for the correct sensor without having to change the pigtail. Glow plug temp sensor from Advance Auto

    CUCV gp temp sensor?

There is a new sensor. It is available with and without a pigtail. The connector has to be changed. The sensor and pigtail are also available aftermarket. I got the combo at my local auto parts store. Do a search for the number. There have been discussions on this topic before.

    How to ID generators?

How about having him send a couple of pictures of the complete data plate. You have a partial NSN and the part showing what generator set it is would be in the same line as "generator set".

    A3 Tranny in an A2

The torque converter acts as a torque multiplier. It provided more torque but is less efficient. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torque_converter

    Water base CARC

Rich, You are right in needing the proper needle also. I got a kit from harbor freight. It had the main gun with two sets of tips and needles. One was 1.8 and the other was 1.4 IIRC. It also had a small touch up gun. I think I got it on sale for about $60. I just looked it up and it is on...

    Sagging cargo cover solution.

We used 1/2 inch on our gun trucks (artillery) so we could walk up there to set up the camo net. The camo net also sat on top when not in use. We used 2/4 gussets on the bows and uprights for further stability. I now just use 1/4 inch and it takes a lot of stress off the cover. I even color...
