    Manifold Heater Problems

Bjorn, I'm curious how you setup an optical sensor. I assume it functions similar to an automatic night-light, but with a switch that closes when lit.

    Epic Tire Failure

14.5R20 XLs are rated at 80psi max. I plan on running a pair on the front my A2 with A3 wheels and 11R20 XLs dualed rear, but don't do much high-speed driving so am not so concerned about high-speed failure. I will keep an eye out for any potential issues.

Does bobbing a deuce gain feul economy?

i don't bother keeping track of the mileage in my M35, because for me its a functional toy. It can out-pull anything we own, and goes through snow the same.

Where can my M818 go on stock NDT's?

This. The NDTs pretty much suck in everything compared to replacement tires (michelin XL, XZL, etc.) I don't remember the TM, but I'm sure someone will bring up the one about properly winching. Always remember, you may be able to pull other things out with ease, but there are few things that...

    Is it broken off?

Steel Belt Radials for stock Rims

I have 11R20 XLs all the way around on mine. I think Gay's Tire Service in GA might have them if you're looking for some. I like them a lot, but they tend to flat-spot if they sit for a while.

Axel Vent Mod, 2.5 ton Rockwells

It seems to be like it would be a trivial task after this setup is added to put in the low-pressure regular to make it a true fording setup. That's what I'd like to do with mine one of these days.

    overdrive gears available soon

there are numerous threads on increasing the Multi's power, but DON'T rotate the set screw! if you rotate the threaded shaft/ screw, there's a piece that will likely break off inside the IP, at which point you'll be taking the IP out to fix/ rebuild it.

    Heaviest Load Yet

Biggest haul for me was 10.5k lbs of off-road equipment mats that were sitting on the bed-rails. Rails didn't groan at all, and the truck wasn't even close to squatting down, but did creak a lot over the rough terrain that I was driving. I was quite impressed.

    Air-O-Matic steering caution !!!

Are the tie rod bracket cast? if not, could you tack-weld it to the tie rod for extra strength?

    High or low sulfur????

Some states have a "fuel blender's license" that allows you to run anything, including off-road diesel, so long as you "keep track" of what you use and pay the piper at the end of the year.

    dual 1400 20s

don't bridge trucks run dual 14s?

    No Brake Lights

You can get one at napa, but the electrical connections will be wrong.

    Driving ?

Stumps pretty much nailed it. Don't drive a deuce if you're in a hurry, unless its the only thing that can get out of your driveway due to weather. Oh, and you will also gain a new appreciation for how easy it is to park a regular car in a parking lot. A deuce will take two spaces (a...

    Making my laundry list...need input

16R20 (53") XZLs, and they sure are crammed in there. needs at least 2" lift imho.

Blue Ridge Parkway MV Road Rally

that's fine with me. I'd like to get the brakes flushed before I take the deuce on a long ride.

    Oh my god.....wife posted this

Due to the farm, the fiance' doesn't mind to much as it comes in handy, especially when the snow hits. Getting more may be an issue only due to space. Sure we have fields, but they're hay fields, not parking lots.

    sorry for the airdale question

possible? sure. Practical? depends on which allison is used. if it has overdrive gears, it'd probably be ok. If not, you will make the deuce's low top speed even lower.
