I am lucky if I put 2,000 on in one year. Only exception was 2011 when I had to take a 580 mile round trip, that year I put about 2500. on it. All diesel fuel.

Did they tell you the temp gauge didn't work or you just saying it didn't work cause it didn't move? Mine takes forever to move but once it does there is no issues.
The truck seems to be pretty decent for what you are getting. Remember prices are only going up on these trucks.

Not sure what the numbers are for, on the 900 series trucks they have the registration numbers painted there, so maybe it was done to keep a standard look.
The stars are the national symbol that should be painted on the front and rear not on the doors.
