i had ordered the one from napa, looked like it would fit but was not happy with the aluminum and the fact that the core itself was narrower. found a original type new core on ebay and used that instead. i would recommend checking ebay.

i noticed a lack of sound when i replaced mine, ignored it when the truck started better:neutral:

ditto on the 5.9, around here you can pick up a decent one for around $1500, $3500 aught to get you well on the way to 350hp + 700ft:-D

air gun yes, don't know about the substitute paint, when i did my 08 i scuffed it and used napa brand sealer primer before color.

just a suggestion you might want to bring a set of magnetic trailer lights. never know what shape the trailer's lights are in. Id also sugest checking the wheel bearings before you get far.:grd:
