    Dumb MRAP question

If there is a way to recycle them they will but, lets face it some things don't need to be in the hands of Joe public and this may be one of them. The sad truth is they are failing to even stay in service and from what has been posted on them they are a monster to keep running. and not even all...

Need some ideas with a new problem..

To generate that much heat I am in favor of a break dragging or not retracting all the way back. If it was a bearing getting that hot it would be melting and slinging grease out of it so you may look for those signs also . Good luck ........

    M923 won't start

This is not as uncommon as you may think. If you don't have a full charge are close to it it's a no go . Remove the jumpers and charge them one at a time until they at least have 12 volts running in each one. You have to remember this is a 24 volt starter so it does take considerable voltage to...

    Trucks out of Indianapolis......

There is a major difference between maintenance and a rebuild. Most of the tags are put on when a truck has been gone through and made as close to new as it can be , this is a rebuild. Paint and tires and routine fluid changes don't rate a tag. Upgrades do how ever and this is how you have the...

Oil, To change or not to change

Oil is said to break down only when it is subjected to heat generated by friction. If it is clear and just serviced then I would just run it until it is scheduled to be changed. I haven't changed the fluids in my truck since I bought it because of that reason. If I spend money I want it to count.

air escaping through air intake stack

I agree with RH Mine does it and to my knowledge I don't have any issues. I drove it over an hour this weekend on country roads and had plenty of air pressure. I am fool over my gages and learned to scan them once every 5 minutes driving professionally. It sounds like may be more of a two...

    M1028 missing something...

If the guy who is selling it can't get it right then it may be clue to be very careful. I know they have come with a/c units on them but 12 volt just doesn't sound right at all. Better to pass than to just buy someone else's problems.
