Will be interested to hear your results with the beadlocks and BBs. I don't ever expect to need run-flats, though I feel having them alleviates me needing to carry a spare (which I don't have, unless you count my M116A3 and I happen to be towing it at the time I get a flat!). I've thought...
Sorry to hear of your unfortunate treatment from the DOT people in Pennsylvania. Different states have different rules, and different ways of enforcing laws and raising revenue.
But, as I understand State-to-State dealings... You don't have to pay the ticket in Pennsylvania. You just can't...
Start simple: check all battery and generator connections first. Take apart, clean and refit, if you have the time to be that thorough. Just tighten them all, if not. Be sure to check the battery connections on the back of the battery box by the starter, not just the ones inside.
All that...
Welcome CARMAN, there is a trucks and tanks event at the Glen Allen VFW November 4th starting at 9 am. Not too far from you. More info in the NOVA HMMWV owners thread

Word from Rob about the event and registration: “You don’t need to register. Your ticket is your MV – just pull in and we’ll find you a spot! ”

I didn’t see any registration requirements. Pretty sure we can just show up.
I’ll ask Rob White, as he’s been to it before. Assume No, unless I report otherwise.
My son wants to go so I suspect we will attend then. It’s 1.5 hours drive but it’s not every day one gets to see a T34 tank being...
There is a Military Vehicle rally in Ashland on the 4th of November: 3rd Annual Trucks and Tanks at VFW Post 10657 - 11568 Cedar Ln, Ashland, VA 23005: Saturday, November 4: 9 am – 6 pm
It is for the VAMVA (Virginia Military Vehicles Association), Rob White is a member. Rob...
Some auto parts stores will test an alternator for you. Yes, it's a heavy beast to pull out, but I agree with those who point at the alternator as the culprit. Maybe it just needs adjusted (I cannot find online references to whether the Delco 21SI you've got has an adjustable regulator, the...
Before fancy spring loaded cam buckles there were good old D rings and webbing. Still the simplest solution. Not as fast to undo as cam buckles, but not by much. I am going to use D rings as fasterners on my HMMWV soft slant back to save cost.

In my case an "EUC cleared" email was not sent, I happened to stumble across a notification nearly hidden on my account page. I complained but nothing really changed. As mentioned, pickup is the hard part anyway. The policy about having to remove the item promptly is about common vehicles...
Congratulations on joining the club. The first thing you need to do is complete service and a very thorough cleaning of fittings and connections. It doesn't matter how nice it looks the military probably hasn't done maintenance on it for 5 to 10 years. Even a rig you purchased from another...
Shellfish allergy? You mentioned free crab. Seems odd for two flare ups in an otherwise "clean" environment. Suspect something in the local air/pollen, sounds odd.
Your family is in my thoughts.

Definitely replace the thermostat if you haven't. They are cheap and you can buy the Stant one at the auto parts store, just get the right temperature for your model HHMWV per the manual. Mine is a 215F model, if I recall correctly. If the Tstat doesn't change the performance of the cooling...
Started the frame for my soft top slant back. Plan to begin tack welding this afternoon, with more tomorrow evening and this weekend. I hope to begin pattern making for the canvas by Sunday. Time will tell.
