Just watched the whole in flight video on FIFI. What a machine and I couldn't begin to imagine the man hours and certs this plane underwent to be back in the air. Nothing makes me more happy than to see history preserved. Anyone have an idea how much it took to get "Doc" back in the air?

Well sorry to burst your bubble but there's no sure fire way when it comes with these trucks. You're taking a risk going either direction because every state views them different. As far as believing the seller or not, that's when your research comes into hand as well as a visual/driving inspection.

Without a serial number, I'm guessing cheaper than normal. I can see GP not giving you any paperwork for it. If they don't know the SN, they're not going to run around to find it.
