Can anyone inform me on the pull strap. On the front of your M1028 there is a strap between the two tie down shackles. I have seen this a couple times now. Was the the intended purpose for the strap and where can I find one?

I'm going to put a steering box reinforcement kit on mine from ORD and Loctite at the same time. It's going to get a sure enough stress test once I get the 37" HMMWV wheels and tires on it next week.

That's scary! I was just under mine this afternoon looking to see if I had a block heater and checking drag links and found the steering bolts were loose in mine also!!! Kinda dejavoodoo.

So the drag link, damper, and wheel took the wobble out? My daughter. Was driving my M1008 and said she hit a pot hole. Described the exact same thing. Bump, wobble down to almost stopped and drove the rest of the way home. I've been driving it for three weeks since with no replication. Been...
