Can anyone inform me on the pull strap. On the front of your M1028 there is a strap between the two tie down shackles. I have seen this a couple times now. Was the the intended purpose for the strap and where can I find one?

I'm going to put a steering box reinforcement kit on mine from ORD and Loctite at the same time. It's going to get a sure enough stress test once I get the 37" HMMWV wheels and tires on it next week.
That's scary! I was just under mine this afternoon looking to see if I had a block heater and checking drag links and found the steering bolts were loose in mine also!!!
