trans is fine i am running the t400 behind the 472 big block in my gmc and that motor has more HP than that 6.2 ever thought about

Ok some pix I didn’t get anything but the alternator mount made on the motor but I did get the steps on the truck done.

Air compressor on a 6.2ldiesel? Has anyone done this? I don’t mean like ac I mean like the compressor on a deuce. I apologize if this has been covered but I didn’t find it.

I certainly agree with you there. I am adding a turbo to my 6.2 simply for 2 reasons 1 more power and tork 2 the motor is going in an almost 8000lb truck and while it may not need the help I would like it.

you can also go with a 700r4 trans and it will have lower 1st and a OD

I say turbo, The 6.2 diesel is a very good motor if you treat it right It is efficient on fuel Parts are cheep They are simple to work on Now if you have the cash id go with a 6bt Cummins. But if you don’t want to spent that much cash then I say turbo the 6.2 do free...

i had a m37 that did that and it was a short but when that happened all the lights went off

Well that was more of a joke than actual fact. I had been looking at a gm4 with a waste gate already on it. what do you think of the gm4’s?

Thanks for the info and the experience!!!! That’s some good info. I also had decided a few weeks back that I would go with 4” pipe so the info is a good help.
