Air compressor on a 6.2ldiesel?
Has anyone done this? I don’t mean like ac I mean like the compressor on a deuce.
I apologize if this has been covered but I didn’t find it.
I certainly agree with you there. I am adding a turbo to my 6.2 simply for 2 reasons
1 more power and tork
2 the motor is going in an almost 8000lb truck and while it may not need the help I would like it.
I say turbo,
The 6.2 diesel is a very good motor if you treat it right
It is efficient on fuel
Parts are cheep
They are simple to work on
Now if you have the cash id go with a 6bt Cummins. But if you don’t want to spent that much cash then I say turbo the 6.2 do free...
Thanks for the info and the experience!!!! That’s some good info. I also had decided a few weeks back that I would go with 4” pipe so the info is a good help.
