Yep, I am a little suprised on the bale thing, thats pretty good. And ya, the 4020 and other new Generation Deeres blew everyone out of the water for a couple years. They were just amazing at the time. I agree on the older is better theory, seems true everywhere almost.

Sorry to hear about your grandfather. I am a greeny, and we have always run Deere tractors, and New Holland hay equip. No Case here. Ours are all older though. Two-cylinders and a 4020. 22,000 is a lot of hours though.

I think the crew cab deuces guys build look similar to the Ford Model A bodies. It is a neat concept. What else needs done? (I saw some things, but wondered about others.)

If i remember right, the M870 is normal width, but the M747 is overwidth. Also, check Olive Drab for info on the truck. They seem to always have something on everything.2cents
