Second thought then is reading. There are many other threads on here about people wanting to make guntrucks. Wouldn't hurt to read the M37 ones either. Talk to Papabear, Maddawg, Driver, and JaTonka. They stand out in my mind on guntruck experts. Also, will it be a tribute, or replica truck...
