My '73 M814 has the tube style grill, but does not have the front weight plate-It looks like it was never installed.

I have no problem running down the interstate at 50 MPH. As long as you can maintain 45mph, the law doesn't care either. You just have to plan your trip with a 45MPH avg- and deal with it.
