You guys are a bad influence

My buddy loves his big tires but hates when he hits bumps. He said they pull the steering wheel like crazy. Stay stock. You already have a bada$$ truck!

had some fun today with my m2a2 in the mud

ahh, my tax dollars being spent for some thing good for once! Stryker, just wondering if you can find me an M-14 receiver somewhere? Winchester, TRW, Springfield, doesn't matter. I want to make this nice ashtray or Christmas ornament for my mom.

Master Cylinder Vent Line vs Breather

Well, now that I read the other posts on this issue, the master cylinder needs to be vented. I think this has has been a cause of my headaches. Every symptom I am having is occurring, hard pedal, brake light switch not engaging after driving for a while, and my grief. Guess I have to work on...

Master Cylinder Vent Line vs Breather

My problem is after the truck has been driven for a little while. The brake pedal gets a little harder too. I'd like to hear more thoughts of this potential vacuum effect. I'm gonna put the vent line and see what happens. I'll definitely report back.

Master Cylinder Vent Line vs Breather

So the my chronic brake switch issues have made me a better mechanic and also have me thinking. I recently had a hydraulic brake light switch fail, well multiple switches fail and ended up changing over to air. I also have a breather on my master cylinder cover. It was pointed out to me by a...

    Is my Winch broke?

If you have a lathe and some aluminum, make em! And keep the tranny in low gear. I thought about using a bolt more than a few times, but I'd rather throw the pin than the winch. Sounds like a shear pin problem on this post.

How much have you spent with GL?

    The economy isn't that bad.

    Brake Light Switch Again!

I had problems with the NOS air upgrade switch not turning the lights on. I hope I corrected the problem by putting a couple drop of air tool oil in it. After I reinstalled it, the lights work. Go figure.

    Bleeding the Master Cyc

The vent line off the top of the master goes into a "T" fitting into an airline that goes into the brake booster itself. It's almost as though it may work as an automatic oiler to the brake booster. The brake booster should be oiled, most, (including me) use pneumatic tool oil. I have a...

    Thinking about getting a M35A2

Ill sell you mine for 3500.0 with winch and some tires. fifth gear is top right, fourth is bottom right. why is it backwards from that?

    Bleeding the Master Cyc

The brake pedal will get harder, higher off the floor. The master does not get bled with a pressure bleeder. It doesn't evacuate the air in the master cylinder itself. It basically stays trapped. The only way to bleed is manually with cap open and pumping until the air bubbles stop. should...

    Bleeding the Master Cyc

I think I have the master cylinder bleeding to a science. Even if the lines are bled the pedal can get mushy. Pressure bleeding through the master doesnt take care of air in the master. I have used my method on 3 different dueces. 2 with brakes bled and 1 with a bone dry master cylinder. 1...

    School me in the Deuce

Take it for a test drive and make sure everything works. Then get out of the truck, careful not to slam your hard on in the door, and hand the money over.

    Real Hot-Rod Deuce!

I would have to take my duece and run that heavily modified duece over to put it out of it's misery. It would need a soldier's execution!

Need a few windows, classifieds search?

I have looked at some of these surplus sites. Once I saw the prices, I thought that the items were from a museum or the last of their kind. I think a visit to your local glass shop is worth the time.

    My first Deuce Needed..

Definitely go through a local private seller. You get the luxury of the title and a truck that has been gone through. Also you get to make a new friend. Secondly, to cure the overboard part, get a fixer upper for less! You will certainly have something else to do along with driving. It...
