When I change the oil filters should I expect a lot of oil leaking out of the filter canister, or will the oil have drained back into the engine?

Anyone know what my problem might be, started the duce and noticed oil leaking from the #2 oil filter canister, top nut is tight. Replacd filters about a year ago. no leaks until today. Do I need to replace the filter, maybe the gasket?

That sounds like may have been the problemn nice idea about improvising the post, mine is only half melted and still works. Its getting a little acid build up on the melted post, I've got to clean the post up. Thanks guys.

Anyone have any advise on what might cause a battery post to melt down on a duce 24 volt system. Maybe a short in the battery cables? Batteries are almost new.

One of the tires that we on the 101 trailer when I picked it up was a Cooper 235-85RT, mounted on the old style 5 lug rim.

No rush, bring them to Aberdeen in May, I'am interested. When I picked this trailer up from from GL one tire was a Cooper 16" AT/ like the ones mounted on a m1009 Chevy. Thanks
