    Best source for MEP-804A/B parts

Sorry I have two control panel assemblies, and it seems I have robbed this part off both already. @CallMeColt do you have a switch you might want to part with?

    Best source for MEP-804A/B parts

I'll check the garage in the AM and get back to you.

    Best source for MEP-804A/B parts

I think I might have one, untested, in my parts stash, out of an 802.

    Mep 803

I'm fired up on sweet and sour meatballs, I am unstoppable :ROFLMAO:

    Mep 803

https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/mep-803a-all-the-tms-you-need.175591/ Files ending -10 are Operating Manuals. Files ending -24 are Technical Troubleshooting. Files ending -24P are Exploded parts diagrams. Should be books up there for both the complete machine, as well as the engine only...

Generator install & fix up thread

How many hours on the set, and is it a reset or original? Might just need a new belt... might need to loosen and retighten the alternator to retension. To me... belt dressing only works for a little while. The belts are cheap: https://www.ebay.com/itm/225710795992 Just take a look at the belt...

    Mep-803a performance - power outage.

A lot of folks up here lost power, think I read 270k? Never dropped where I am. Nice to hear when these things pull through when asked!

    MEP-803A LOAD CAPACITY

The 831s cant take overload like the larger 5/10s... I would suspect a 10% overage to be the max it will take.

    MEP805 and wet stack

I would just direct him to Steel Soldiers for all questions, and have this thread deleted. Tough to travel over a charred bridge... :)

Runs rough and black smoke on initial start

The length of the soft line is not important... the barb which its installed on, on the metering pumps, rotates. This rotation is what allows fuel to be pumped upwards. If they are not both fueling at the same amount, it can cause running issues. In actuallity its not the barb that rotates, but...

Runs rough and black smoke on initial start

What you photographed are the metering pumps, not the injectors. If you follow the hard fuel lines up to the top of the engine, the injectors are the items which you plumbed the return line short sections off of (with the barbs). The barb on the metering pumps (where the soft lines are plumbed...

    MEP-803A LOAD CAPACITY

The engine in this platform is strong enough to support 15+KW... its the electronics which limit it. The gauges on the machine are calibrated at a power factor of .8. If you assume a PF of 1.0, the amperage data on the rear of the machine works out to 12.5KW @ 100%. You looking at an 803, or do...

MEP 803A won’t start - high temp warning light

You will catch me eating soup with my cell phone, before you catch me trying to view a PDF on it.

MEP 803A won’t start - high temp warning light

I know you dont need 5 of them, but only place I see them for sale new right now: https://www.ebay.com/itm/124183942354 I may have one on a spare 802 engine I have, untested. What model Kubota?

MEP 803A won’t start - high temp warning light

You are right, its a normally open contact switch. Been a few years since I have had to swap one out. Its one item that rarely goes bad, but does happen.

MEP 803A won’t start - high temp warning light

Yes the sensor has likely failed. Battle short in a pinch, or just make a real quick double male end cable and hook the leads together.
