i purchased a replacement fuel filter base from oem-surplus. between this and replacing all the rubber fuel lines back to front solved my hard to start problems.

hello gents, speedt the weekend cleaning up some loose ends on my M1009. one thing i have traced but not fixed is a coolant leak. i have discovered that the expansion tank has a small leak on the bottom seam where the 2 pieces of injection mould come togeter. does anyone have an idea...

says running condition unknown but 7k miles and looks nice. bought it to replace my m1009 daily driver it seems the MV virus that i caught is fatal . . .

due to the snow in ATL the heaternow working worth a flip i replaced the blower switch started at 18F no problem with the new glowplugs and doghead starter relay. no problem in the snow. fun for all.

it has been getting colder down here in the south with morning temps 18 - 22 and it felt like the starting relay was starting to 'stick' a little and i did not want to toast the starter so yesterday i executed the Doghead satrter relay modification . . . a al Warwag with heat shrink tubing...

looks great warwag if you tied them into the high beam circuit then you are not using a separte switch? are these the model 520's?
