    oil leak

So you run the vent line to the intake? That is what is recommended?

    oil leak

I suspect that my leak is from the transfer case vent. Is this a common occurrence? Here is a picture from Hanks Deuce's website, that reflects where I think mine is leaking from. When I say "leak," it is just an oily mess on the transfer case, and a drop or two on my driveway.

    oil leak

My truck has a leak coming from up on top of the transfer case as well. I can't see it from underneath the truck anyhow, so I intend to pull the in cab access panel to see what is going on.

Can MRAP wheels be mounted "deep dish" style without flipping hubs?

Speaking from experience? Any evidence to back up this claim? Axle seals are such a common failure point that I dont know how you can possibly relate the two here.

    First M35A2C New-to-me

Injector lines are reusable and repairable. There is a specific ferrule to use, and you simply trim the injector line down about a 1/4 inch and cut the old ferrule off. Deburr, slide on the new ferrule, and you are good to go. New injector lines are expensive. Ferrules are cheap.

    LT. Dan M35a2 Modification Thread

I feel ya dan. It seems like you and I are just talking to one another in each others threads. Haha. And my truck is as problematic. Fix one leak, discover another. If its not one thing it is another. You are much deeper into yours though, as far as mods and rebuild. Im just takin my time...

    question of tires and rims

Welldigger is correct. My solution was to champher all the a3 wheels on both sides so I can mount them where ever.

    Deuce bumper illegal in CT

Forgive me please. They gave you passenger car bumper heights! Another DMV person giving you WRONG information. The bumper law clearly states 30" for trucks off the ground, not 22". If they told you 22", then I am further flabbergasted. If you decide to go this route and jump through their...

    Deuce bumper illegal in CT

I'll say and suggest this once again. Try a different dmv, or heck, go the same dmv and get a different person. You will probably get a different result. You have everything you need. VIN check, insurance, bill of sale. Ownership chain, SF97, which is accepted everywhere. That is all you...

How I got a dropped tool out of an engine(it's a secret)

I understood you originally, and appreciated the humorous angle to the post. Its all business in here, at times.

Flag Retiring Ceremony this passed weekend in CT

Yes definitely. I am up and running, at the moment at least.

    Deuce bumper illegal in CT

This leads more to my point. Yes, those weight numbers did probably confuse them behind the counter. But nobody behind the desk at the ct dmv has a clue. Gvwr for antique is irrelevant. Look at your reg for antique. There is no gvwr stated. But you wont find any dmv section laws dealing with...

    Deuce bumper illegal in CT

Thank you for your comment and concern. I will clarify only one point. Maine registration. Legal if your vehicle spends 1/2 the year or more in Maine. Not recommended for this particular instance, as the owner probably doesn't spend that much time there. The only way to do it legally with...

    Deuce bumper illegal in CT

Ya it is ridiculous here. No argument there. But we all have our reasons for staying. Honestly, that was going to be my next suggestion, Maine registration. I have done that in the past as well, by mail. You can get away with it until your neighbors or local PD notice. At that point, you...
