Well, I had no response from GL today, so I just sent along what I had from the IRS and the US Dept of Education. Maybe that will be enough. I'll post an update if anything changes.
Here in NJ, a utility bill counts as 1 point in our 6-point ID system for renewing a Driver's License. That sentence was a direct quote from one of the GL emails to me though, specifically the one that prompted me to send them my vehicle registration cards.
I know I placed the blame squarely on GL and they probably didn't deserve that. I just let myself get a little frustrated. I'll see what they say today. I do have a Social Security Statement from last December, but it was unfortunately sent to the wrong address (street number 2 instead of...
Apparently in my case, "Utility bills are not acceptable." Add in the fact that I haven't had a traditional landline phone for years and I guess that won't work. I'll see if they want some of these various letters from various federal government bodies. Maybe they'll like one of them, or...
This is my first GL auction, and it does seem like they want it to be my last. I'd just like to explain what's happened so far and see if I'm missing something here.

The engine used in the article is from an '82 C1500, and the second page describes the engine as "a 24-year-old turbodiesel ". My math puts that as an article from sometime in 2006.
I just wanted to introduce myself. I've been lurking on the board for a while now gathering information, and starting bidding on some GL auctions a little while back. Of course, I've been outbid on every single one of them, until I won 2 M1009's yesterday. I've prepared my EUC and I'll be...
