    2014 Annual Texas MV Rally

What is there out at the camp grounds? Are there bathrooms? This will be my first excursion of this type, is there anything that I should remember to bring? I wanna be prepared, so it turns out to be a great weekend.

    2014 Annual Texas MV Rally

I'm heading down from Fort Worth in my bobbed deuce and m105 trailer. I'll be heading down around 10:30-11am. Anyone else heading south out of Fort Worth. It'd be nice to get in a convoy, since this is my first long trip in the deuce. I don't foresee any issues, just want to be on the safe side..

    Towing a M35A2

*Reviving a dead thread* i was told that it might be a good idea to leave the tranny in 5th gear, so that fluid will continue to circulate, while flat towing. Does this sound correct?

    Deuce door hinges bent

My door hinges on the deuce are bent and with the door closed, there is a gap at the window. I assume that this got bent by people getting in and out of the truck, and pulling on the door for help. I could bend that back, but do y'all think that will weaken and possibly break them? I am looking...

Deuce repair after scrappers got to it.

I would like to point out that pulling the truck to stray it is not recommended, per the TM. Yes, it has been done by some, but if the motor is hydro locked and you roll it over, you're going to be looking for a new block.

    Recovery strap/tow strap

I'm looking for suggestions on what everyone uses for a recovery strap and a two strap. They are different straps, and I'm thinking 30,000lb 3"-4" wide. Does anyone have a strap that they have used to pull a deuce or bigger that was "stuck"? The two straps with hooks are definitely out, due to...

    New brake shoes or not?

Did you replace or regrease that inner bearing?

    New brake shoes or not?

Someone was gonna ask this, and it might as well be me. Are you following the TM? I just did a brake job, and that's why I ask. If you're following the brake adjustment guide, then you see that you have an upper and lower adjustment screw. Do you see where I'm heading?

    New brake shoes or not?

You're moving about 75lbs of metal.. I'm a 250 pound guy and it's rough for me to do it one handed. The instructions say to adjust your nut tightness with the tires on, is this how you did it?

    Tire chains

It'd be nice to have a chain on each of my 4 14.00x20 tires. Bobbed truck, I only need 4 chains.

    Still no power

Have you followed all of the bleeding instructions in the TM's?
