I'm guessing weak batteries, dirty batt terminals, or a loose connection.
Do you ALWAYS check for hydraulic-lock prior to trying to start it?
Check your Batts, check that they are fully charged, clean the terminals if dirty, check that other connections are good & not loose.
THEN if the...
Looked good before....
Looks great after! :-D
:?: Did you paint the whole thing? Or did you just add the camo portions?
:?: How many cans did it take??
IF you fix it yourself & shop around for good prices on parts they aren't too much of a "money pit".
BUT IF you pay someone else to fix it "WHOA NELLIE" you can spend big $$ FAST!

Even if you are mechanically inclined & can tackle most automotive repairs...
On one hand I applaud your desire to get a Deuce...

IF you decide to boost it with these spare batts you'll want 2 sets of jumper...
There is probably a "Proper" way to display the flag on a Deuce, but I say display it where you want.
Display it where it shows well, & where it doesn't block your field of vision.
& Display It PROUDLY!!
One consideration might be to shelter ir from exhaust soot....
No one wants to see a...

IF you register it as a vintage vehicle it typically needs to be a certain year or older.
Vintage tags have some use restrictions, and some storage requirements, BUT you can save some serious $$ on insurance!
AND be sure that your axle vents are not plugged!
A plugged vent will cause pressure to build up in your axles & this will force axle oil out through the seals.
You can clean the vents by removing them & then spraying some brake cleaner thru them. Test by blowing thru from the threaded side...
