Diesel Fuel Additives/Conditioners - Good Stuff or Snake Oil

I run powerservice in all 3 of my diesel engines, and the 3 previous ones and am happy with the results. Never jelled and no problems with dirty injectors. That said, there are new e.p.a. standards coming soon to remove most of the sulfer, and one other chemical I can't think of that add...

cranetruck if you are looking at an engine swap, and want good milage, I think you would need a 5.9 cummings, I've seen someone advertises swapping this motor into deuces. I don't know how they would perform for your application. I had one and liked it, never scaled much over 17,000 with that...

    Salvaged trucks

not a bad idea, if you have lots of storage space and the time and patience to deal with all of us looking for a good deal  keep us updated though, we are all in need of parts sooner or later, and there are some guys charging way too much for way too little.

    Multifuel engine intercooler

crane truck you are correct, the more air flow, the lower your egts will be, and the more fuel you can pour to it, =more ponies . But you also have to expell the same amount that you have gained in the intake, otherwise you'll have a bottleneck on the other end, at least at wot. How much will...

    Short on power

fireguy I'm sure your not gelling in this warm weather, it almost sounds like an air leak. The black smoke at higher rpms could be from soot build up in exhaust, depends on how long you take it out for a drive. The n/a motors were noted for leaving quite a trail behinde them, the turbo was added...
