Alright, I fiddled with it some more this evening, got the oil leaks fixed and ran it with 6250watts on it. Anymore and it bogs the engine, so I'm going to see what the injector's spray patterns look like. I already cleaned them, if the spray pattern is the least bit funky Im sending them to be...
You are missing both battery trays, the hold-down rods go through the small holes in the base skid itself however.
Get on fleetfilter.com and use their crossreference tool to see if the kubota filter is the same.
I had to take the check valves out, so I could work the fuel rail and visually confirm when the rear pump engaged the fuel rail, it was maddening. Also, it's a good idea to remove the stud from the case for extra room.
I got it running today and loaded it for about 10 minutes with 6kw, how much are these 802 suppose to vibrate? It ran better the longer it went, but once the air was worked out of the system, it was still very shaky.
I have an oil leak somewhere up front, so gonna have to investigate that...
The new (80x) units are fetching a higher price because the acoustic enclosure, wealthier suburban folk have entered the market here. And even with the backwoods people like me, quieter is more desirable...
Well I reread peter's rebuild thread to help add depth to the TM on re-installing the pumps, and I noticed he timed his pumps to the .99in piston drop and his seams to be running fine, so now I don't know which measurement the TM lists is right, I assumed the 2.519mm was correct and the .99 was...
This confuses me, the TM lists ".99in (2.519mm)" and 2.519 mm is not .99 in! It is closer to .099in!
So is it .99in piston drop or 2.519(.099in) piston drop?
I have had good luck just keeping the tanks dry and clean, but power service makes a biocide that supposedly works as a preventative. Alot of that stuff is just snake oil... No.2 heating oil in my area comes treated to not gel, and hasn't on me down to -7 last year. And if there is no water in...
Yes they are fine with 240, they(sb175) came stock on a 30kw pto generator I bought, and that got me on them, because they are so cheap. Just get the amp capacity needed. The red ends should be warning enough not to put fingers in them, but if extra idiot-proofing is needed, they also make...
If it leaks when the switch is on, engine off, its your return. If it only pools up when its running its on the high pressure side, most likely the compression fitting, from being overtightened.
