Jimmy your truck looks great. With the rear axles slid back you could switch from the bed to a fifth wheel and back to the bed if you needed, kind of a multi purpose truck. You could build a set of removable bed jacks like on a camper to remove the bed. Just one of the crazy ideas I have had...
Bjorn thanks for all the information you share with us. It will be a lot easier to check locations when I actually have the filter and base. I like the idea of easier filter changes, and better filtration. I have been under the hood of my truck a million times. I have worked on a couple of my...
I really like the setup on your truck Bjorn. Today I decided to shorten my heater so I could do a similar oil filter mount in the future if it works out OK. It only took me a couple hours to shorten the heater and put it back together. I went to mock up the heater and noticed I have a...
The pictures are not of my truck, I saved them from an old post so I could make one later. I have yet to make one ,but finally some of the photos I have saved came in handy. I did install a hidden switch that disables the started button, has worked good for me.

Thanks for the comments. With the stock shifter I can almost hit the horn with my nose when I shift from low to high. The new shifter weighs quite a bit less than the original cast one. I used 1/4 inch x 1-1/2 inch plate and some 3/4 inch tubing. When the t-case is in high range part of the...
I finally finished a project that was on my to do list. A few hours, some scrap steel, and a welder I made a new transfer case shift lever. I did not want to cut or bend the original one in case I want to return the truck to stock. Now it is in easy reach when I am driving. I don’t even have...
Thanks for the comments. I love to see photos of everyones vehicles and where they live. The “Taxi” is how I pay the bills, every time I back the deuce into the driveway I am real careful not to back over my car. Living in town of 900 people has some advantages, we have a pretty nice view for...
Superdave, cool vehicles I think one would look good in the back of my deuce. It looks like you have enough vehicles for your own army. I also like the bed on the back of the Dodge in the top picture, I wouldn’t mind a couple of pictures of that.

Hey guys I wanted to post some photos of my truck getting a light work out. Last week I took my truck to get about 6000 pounds of landscaping blocks, it was about 85 miles round trip. The truck drove great and rode so nice on the way home. Most of the time I haul with the truck it is on the...
It may not be proper military procedure but I have learned to paint my tools, chains, snatch blocks etc. with a color that will show up laying on the ground. It is surprising how fast these things can disappear. I got my truck stuck in a mud hole one dark and stormy night. I spent more time...
Your truck looks great! What is the intended use for the quick links, I have never seen them before. I know what you mean about running out of storage space every time I add new storage it fills up fast. That is probably why I cant get a car in my garage.
