The aluminum half door for summer and a x door variation for winter...unlike the soft doors the half doors use the same striker the x door uses so you can interchange them in minutes. The only problem if you have a soft top.... the aluminum extrusion for the soft top kit is a piss poor design...
the H1 hummer is the civilian version of the HMMWV...basically the same thing with some EPA and DOT add ons. Plus a bunch of unnecessary frills and plastic.
Real value is related to supply and demand. Look at the state side land rover defenders. These humvees are a steal. One day you will be telling your grand kids about the time you could get a m998 for under 10k and the will be sick you didnt buy more.
same unit sold again for 30,500 on 7/15, but looks like it ultimately went for 27,500 on a buy it now. Probably offered up to a non winning bidder when the winner backed out...
I purchased in 3 sales. 3/18,4/8 and 4/22. 3/18 and 4/22 show approved on same day. 4/8 say submitted to tsc, pending approval. I have called many times thinking something is wrong. Looked at post sell info on 4/8 sell today and it says item should have been picked up by 4/22 and storage...
Importing a hmmwv as off road would not preclude you from titling or insuring it. In fact some states require all off road vehicles made after 1988 to be titled and registered.
ALL Hmmwv produced are considered not road worthy here in the US. It doesnt matter which batch or when you got it...They do not meet DOT and EPA regulations for road use. From what I understand Arnold Schwarzenegger's M998 required ~100K to make it street legal. I have imported Ex Air-force...
turns out the wires from the battery go up passenger side bulkhead and through the firewall into the cab near the center of the insturment panel and over to the STE/ICE-R receptacle plug on the dash just right of the glove box. Each pin is lettered A,B,C,D,E.......easy fix once i located the plug.
thank you, that was the info i needed...the schematic just show the wires going from the battery to a column of blocks. Cannon plug under the drivers seat (under the cab) is the info i needed. I will check it out tonight when it cools down...105 outside now...
