I haven’t put the ECV radiator on yet, but I have used few of there normal H1 aluminum radiators
And they are excellent, everything lines up accurately, cooling performance is excellent too,
I have nothing negative to say about them.
Here is it guys, ECV aluminum radiator I ordered few days ago is delivered.
I’ll start by saying, extremely light weight, the original copper radiator needs crane to lift it up,
the upper bracket design is different that the stock system, making it very easy to remove the radiator if you have...
I have a hummer and humvee toy collection with some old school hummer factory advertisement material,
I noticed they said 3 speed transmission for 1993 model year and that is correct
But it also says 242 transfer case,
i thought 242 can only be bolted to 4L 80e
40s on the H1
Never ever again, it ruined the sharp movements of the truck, larger softer side wall made the truck feel like a boat.
It decreased trucks acceleration,
And definitely negatively affected braking distance.
Also
When you open the hood of the ECV with its 400 amp generator, and the AC, it’s as busy and crowded as any modern German car,
open the hood of non turbo humvee and you see everything in front of you, I love that simplicity.
Here is my experience,
I have 1985 humvee with H1 turbo motor and 256 gears
I have M1123 without a turbo and 273 gears
I have ECV turbo with 308 gears
so far best all around performance is from non turbo M1123,
ECV is very fast up to 40 mph, then gears that give her that fast take off start...
We have had more rain as of today in 2024 than the entire 2020 combined,
DemoCRAPS will lie again about the global warming.
This is California ecology, it’s been like that for millions of years.
defiantly agree that this was extremely rare situation,
over the years I have had about 20 H1 and humvee trucks, put over 400.000 miles combined,
I have never experienced something like this, or heard ( only you Steve)
this is so rare that even online can’t find any fake news about DB2 run...
I like electric shut off valve,
let’s say you are driving at 50 mph,
How do you stop the truck to get out and turn it off ?
If you have electric valve with a Switch, you can smile while you are waiting for the engine to die.
I think pre 92 don’t have those,
I have injection pumps here from 6.2 humvees, non of them has that solenoid,
Also the fuel return exit tip is open without a restrictor valve.
Later models have a spring loaded mechanism inside to keep pressure in the IP.
