yes I bought that security 5 point tool,
truck is fixed and runs like a charm 😁💪
To be clear, the plastic piece that broke off wasn’t from shut off solenoid, it was from the secondary solenoid that has a wire inside the pump,
I don’t know what that is for,
older humvees don’t have that...
I agree any diesel can be run a way
But it’s so rare on DB2 it’s probably 0.01% or something?
DS4 with PMD has those split second runaway feeling when it’s failing
Shoot
Look at this
small broken piece from second solenoid
Made its way under the spring,
and shut off couldn’t turn it off, I thought it was a run away because pedal was stuck around 2500 Rpm range
basically a run a way but not exactly
guys I am still in shock what happened yesterday,
driving my M1223 ( she was running beautifully) 27.000 miles on the truck,
truck was running absolutely perfect
driving about 45 mph
I noticed Rpm would not go back down
I thought IP spring broke
I tried to slow down, thankfully 12k brakes did...
I absolutely agree, 220 is very high for it to kick in.
The new sensor works excellent, opens up on point, stays on for maybe 20 seconds and off again. Yes this is the sensor that goes on the crossover,
length and size is correct as well 1/2 inch NPT.
They have all temperature ranges, 165 to...
Got 4 wheel alinement done, she drives lovely.
Also changed the temperature switch to 200 degrees to activate the hydraulic fan.
The switch is made in USA, can be used as open or closed switch ( on humvee is open )
Ez TCU can run multiple types of transmission
Including 4l80e
4L65 , 4L70 4L80 and 4L85e
All those other transmissions need speed sensors to run.
Make sure in your settings on the hand held TCU Programer you selected 4l80e and not one of those other transmission by mistake.
I have brand new EZ TCU here with me
I’ll look into the manual today,
but I don’t see why the TCU needs additional speed input,
When transmission is already telling the TCU it’s speed
those TCUs are designed to be stand alone for many older cars or trucks that retrofit 4l80e
And most of...
My TCU Needed
input from TPS sensor
Input from RPM sensor
power 12v from direct source
tire size information
Final gear ratio information
no speed sensor information was needed
and yes on my m1123 I am using manual shifter
Just like the one you bought,
It was 60 dollar range, works great.
if you don’t mind shifting like a manual transmission up and down
I don’t have any issues with EZ TCU
I have been using since 2015
Shifts on point and low range works great,
I am getting my RPM signal from magnet sensor on the balancer,
