I think that a draft should suit my needs. The form or presentation of the information is not so important as the content. I am looking for the parts diagrams and service information. I have a couple that I am looking to buy and I need some reference to determine how complete the rings are. Does...
I am looking to buy a ring mount for one of my M35’s. I have looked in the classifieds and haven’t seen anything there. I found a couple on ebay but haven’t gotten any responses back from the seller. Does anyone have one they are willing to sell, or information of where I can get one?
Thanks
Mike
I was doing some poking around in M35A3 images and it looks like the same configuration as an A3. I’m still curious as to the why it was configured that way.
That muffler works really well. With the LDS motor and the muffler it is not painful to drive without ear protection. You can hardly tell there is a turbo on the thing. The truck came from the 2/185 Armored HHC a California National Guard outfit so I am wondering if this was some add on to...
Are there any other Deuces out there with this exhaust configuration? Does anyone know anything about this exhaust configuration? I am trying to find the heat shield screen for this muffler but I cannot find any information on this setup. The truck has an LDS-465-1A in it. Any help is...

Nice job on the winch add on. I have a couple questions about your rebuild. I have a winch for an M35 on one of my other MV’s that someone cobbled onto it years ago. I want to remove it and rebuild it then install it on my M35.
- I assume the bumpers between the W/W and...
All,
Thanks for the information. I'm going to follow the leads provided. Emmando22, thanks for posting the link. It is very informative. I haven't checked the braking characteristics of the trailer with wheels off the ground. It will be the next PM check/action taken. Thanks for the suggestion...
I am looking for some parts for my M105 trailer, does anyone know of a parts supplier out there that stocks parts for them, NOS not GL trailers that are being parted out? I hooked one of mine up the other day and have leaks in the air system. It looks like I need some parts for the emergency...
70Deuce,
I usually carry a cheapy digital camera in the glove box of my Jeeps to capture off road escapades. I will have to throw one in the GB of my Duece. I would love to check out that M973 of yours. I hear there is an MV get together in Sedalia once a month or so. Do you participate in that...
I wish I had more pics, but the wife wasn't too hip on coming along with me. We live on a hill and the county plows don't like to come up here I would estimate the grade to be about 6% in places nothing overly steep. The deuce handled it no problem.
Madsam,
The snow really tapered off north of here. I had to run into denver and there was maybe 4 inches in the Centenial area. I-25 was a mess between the Springs and Castle Rock. Between Larkspur and Centenial I counted 6 wrecks and one dead 3 point buck. I am sure it will be fine by Tuesday.
Just a quick post. We got a foot of snow today and none of the plows come out to our place. I thought it a good opportunity to take the Deuce out for a spin to beat the snow down a bit for the wife’s grocery getter. It was the first time I have driven the Deuce in the snow and found that a foot...
I am in need of a cover for one of my M105's as well. It's a tan trailer and would like to get a tan cover for it. Does anyone know where I might find one cheaper than GMA?
I just moved to the area and would like some information on the licenses and registration process you CO guys use here. I just moved to Sedalia from Phoenix. Colorado sure is cold. I have two M35’s and two M105 trailers that I need to get registered. I have the SF97’s for them all but I am not...
Thanks for the offer, I appreciate it. I think there might be some other issues so I am going to have it towed the rest of the way. I found storage for the truck this morning. Thanks for all the help. Once I get the truck home I will post a talley of the damage.
thanks again
Mike
The u-joints in the driveline between the transfercase and the 1st axle let go in Grants, NM. I had a mobile deisel repair outfit bring me some u-joints and they insited on installing them. They got the joints in but totally unbalanced the driveline. Imagine driving at 45 with an unbalanced...
I was driving my M35 through Albuquerque to Denver and I am having major problems with it. It looks like it may have to finish the journey to Denver on the back of a flatbed. Is there anyone in the Albuquerque area that might be able to help me with storage for at most three weeks while I...
