i flushed my radiator the way the prestone flush kit said and used 2 bottles of the prestone cleaner. my heater will run you out of the cab. no problems from my experience

the only thing i can find that the S.O. did was paint it white, remove 3 shackles, the blackout light in the grille, and the bridge plate.

i got the pics today even though it was a rainy day. i got it because i alway liked them as a child seeing them at the national guard and in parades and stuff.

So I had a good weekend and was able to fix all the little stuff on my M1008. I bought it a couple months ago from the sherriffs dept. i had a buddy of mine paint the outside a couple weeks ago with 1 gallon of gillispie 383 green and it took every bit of it, ran out before we got the door jambs...

does anyone know the bolt sizes that holds the bracket on? mine was missing and i got one from gm and i dont have any bolts.

i run rotella 15w40 in everything and have had no problems.

i drive my m1008 daily,and its all stock except for a radio and cigarette lighter that i added. i get around 16mpg, and i have driven it 70-75 mph but it sounds like an airplane lol. its not a cadillac but it was never ment to be.

I bought a 1985 m1008 a couple weeks ago, and it came from the sheriffs office. They had painted the outside white, and i am wanting to put it back the original (or as close to) o.d. green. Does anyone know the paint color code or know where to get some reasonably priced...

i need one for my 1985 m1008. i have one for a 1994 6.5 but it is too short. does anyone know the part number for a bigger one?
