Please forgive me if this has been discussed, but Is there an inner tube that can be used with the stock M35A3 wheel? From what I can tell, the CTIS set up of the rim makes it a bit different with the routing of the stem. I am just burnt out on battling my old leaky wheels and have been...
Long story short, 10 years ago when i was young and dumb i took my A3 through deep water and blew my fan apart. I have long since replaced it however my fan clutch control valve has failed and i had jerry rigged the fan to have 0 air pressure making it run continuously. Today i added a 2 way...
I have this issue as well, is the speedo cable supposed to have oil in it for lubrication and a seal on the speedo failed? Either way my speedo stopped working all together recently so I will likely be replacing both.
Noticed high oil pressure at approximately 65 PSI start up while idling on a 90 degree day, under load while driving the stock gauge pegs out.
Today I hooked up a mechanical gauge and got about 55 PSI. during revs up to 2600 rpm it reached 100 PSI under no load. I haven't tested it while...
Indeed Ollied is sheltering Heavy D. Until I return. Thank you everybody for offering your assistance. I look forward to paying it forward with your future needs.
Thank you everyone for your generosity! I am going to bump this one more time and see if anybody else is a little closer. If not I would like to take Ollied up on his offer if it still stands. Again thank you thank you everyone for your willingness to help!
Hello everyone, I am in the Coast Guard currently assigned here in the NYC area. I am transferring to Kodiak Alaska for the next 3 years. I cannot bring my beloved M35A3 with me without paying a fortune. I don't know anyone that has any room for it. Is there anybody out there within 50 miles...
So I went to change out the shocks on my M35A3 prior to the parade with ones I ordered years ago. Come to find out I ordered ones for the M35A2... So anybody coming to the parade want the pair of OEM shocks for a great low price of 20 bucks?
I haven't posted in a while, and I had this same symptom on my own thread that I have not followed up on yet. I had it looked at by a pro, and he determined that it was not oil but fuel. Thinking about it they look a bit similar to someone not too familiar. Anyways the problem was the fuel...
True, I will drain the remaining coolant tomorrow and see if there is a difference. The engine "according to the gauge" says 341 hours, and 6,200 miles. I too was thinking perhaps something was broken loose during the jarring of the radiator a little bit. it reached 200 degrees because my old...
I drained around 3/4 of the coolant into a 5 gallon water jug and poured some out into the mason jar. I do not have access to a pressure tester. Is that something you can rent from an auto store?
Ok Gentlemen, here is how the lines are attached. As I see it, they are in accordance with the TM. I believe only the oil lines can attach to fittings specifically for the oil lines, so cross contamination is ruled out as far as I can tell. the last pic is a sample in a mason jar that has been...
Coming to think of it, the TOP and TOP RIGHT coolant and oil lines cannot be mixed up. the oil line is attached via a threaded fitting, the coolant line is merely a nipple with hose clamp. There is a "CAT house" about 30 miles away but I am deathly scared to hear any figures. When I was running...
