    Quick Fist clamps

I have been wanting to get a rifle mount in my A3 for a while and wasn't fond of the Milspec ones, because they seemed a bit cumbersome, and being metal wouldn't be too gentle on the wood stock of my m1 carbine. After much searching I came across this brand called "Quick Fist" they specialize...

    Vulcanizing tires

Thanks for all of the feedback guys. After realizing that the vulcanization repair might not be the best fix, for both safety, cost and hassle reasons, I decided to contact the seller again. I sent him a long email pretty much asking him out of the kindness of his heart to overlook the fact that...

    Vulcanizing tires

Hi all, I bought 7 Michelin XZL 395/85/R20s from a vendor a few months ago. long story short I only got 2 tires mounted on the front of my A3 because 5 of the others have punctures in them! they are used surplus so I guess it is to be expected. I contacted the vendor and he said to have them...

Sounds good OD! Are you guys planning on cutting over via Fl528 to 407, or Hwy50? I can meet you somewhere off of those routes so that we can still travel a few miles together. Paul

    Deuce Parking Brake install question

Interesting! I didn't know that... Well what I do know is that my brake lever IS adjustable with the knob on the end. I would think the non adjustable cable wouldnt function with that lever correct? It is an A3 as well, so I one would assume they would have the more modern style installed.

    Deuce Parking Brake install question

All parts are in position as the manual directs. The brakes engage wonderfully, with plenty of tension. Like I said it is a very minute contact when disengaged, and I too believe it shouldn't be a problem. Just wanted to make sure you know? Thank you for the quick responses. 8)

    Deuce Parking Brake install question

It will rotate slightly as in it is grabbing somewhat with the brake lever fully lowered.

    Deuce Parking Brake install question

Hello everyone! over the last 2 days taking my time I took off my old shot parking brake shoes, and have installed the new set ordered from Eriks Military Surplus. Everything has gone relatively smoothly, and the new shoes are installed. The problem is the inner shoe. Even with the hand brake...

How can we help Sandy victims?

Incredible story BradBMI. I have family that live in Gerittsen beach, Brooklyn who were completely flooded out. I kept thinking to myself how I wished I lived up there with the deuce, to help out the neighborhood. I am glad someone else had the same idea and put it to fantastic use. Kudos! Paul

    M35A3 power steering boost

I replaced mine with the appropriate size generic rubber heater hose purchased from NAPA auto parts. The new hose is bullet proof compared to the shredded old paper wire one. Very cheap $ to boot! Paul

    Armored Deuce

Im not sure if this was addressed yet, but what if you vacuum sealed each of the phonebooks in plastic once or twice? That should keep the moisture out for a long while until the plastic degrades over a number of years. It will keep it nice and cheap vice kevlar and steel. 2cents
