Sounds like you actually had it in neutral and need to bleed off all your air then push the shifter until its sitting on the floor then try moving the truck.

Done. All is working as it should now. I just have to dump all the air in order to shift. Oh and the speedometer quit working after I installed a new tach cable.

Could I swap 2.5ton axles into my M923A1? my reason for asking is Air lockers. something I want to do with the truck requires it to have air lockers. So, can I install the 5 ton hubs and smindles etc onto the 2.5 ton axle housings? I would strengthen them up with Gussets etc. do you see any...

why dont you use 6tl batteries they have 230AH reserve. they cost more but store alot more. what batteries are you currently using?
