Whats the deal with the sf97? do I wait for them to send it or do I have to request one? thanks I will have to get up to your neck of the woods soon, it drives pretty good data tag says updated in 07 and the carc date is 11/03 has abs also
drive flange bolts are 3\4", I took them off for the trip and averaged about 9mpg, drove her all the way home without a problem, I put 400 bucks in the truck total trip was 550 miles and when I got home I still had 3/4 of a tank, seems like a real sound machine, all the fluids had been recently...
I have packed all of the items on my list and are ready to head out in the morning, going to bend, then back on the 5 all the way up to olympia or so and get a motel, supposed to be at jblm at 8am friday morning. I will keep this thread updated as I go.
Does anyone know the size of the bolts...
This is the information I found today:
Water Pump - Napa - 2522425 and Car Quest - TR22425
Power Steering - Napa - 259470 and Car Quest - 13A11P5
Main Drive - Napa - 2522401 and Car Quest - TR22401
Generator - Napa - 257360 and Car Quest - 11A0915
Please correct me if I am wrong, thanks.
I know this is an old thread, but I cannot seem to find the answer I am looking for, I know I am a newb but, is the 800 series belts the same as the 900 series? I have a 925 and I want to bring spare belts with me on my aquisition, a link to a thread or just part numbers would be great, thanks...
The temp belt would be ok, but I would rather just carry an extra set of belts, for the price of spare belts there is no reason not to have them imho. I do thank you guys for the help and the good advice, seems like you can never be too prepared for a recovery.
Sweet! Thats good information, thank you sir. I am getting ready for the trip up on Thursday, then acquisition on Friday. I am hoping to have some of the necessary tools and accessories needed for the trip home. I passed my test and got my CDL permit and will be riding with a licensed driver...
^I agree, even though the camo scheme is cool, the navy blue scheme is very one of a kind, and I think it helps identify what truck it is, I think its hella sick that you have the detroit lockers in the rear, are you gonna put one up front also?
I like your idea on paint scheme, I was gonna say the same thing about tire pressure, if you have the inserts you can run them pretty low and still maintain control, I was thinking around 20 psi or less. what about air bags and better shocks?
Let us know what you do and how it works out, quincy is a small town so the cops will get to know your rig, but its not a daily driver so you should be fine.
What are you doing about smog? does this not apply to historic vehicles?
yep love the 925s, I have a few plans for the new rig, dont want to give away too much info just yet, but it should be the first of its kind, at least that I have seen (EVIL) but I am thinking about going with the 1400's rather than the 1600's, truckaholic maybe we can make a deal on your 1400's...
I was thinking of taking that heavy thing off of there, but I will probably just relocate it to the back! :) If I was going north though I would at least have to stop in and say hey, how is your new truck?
