I am bobbing my second deuce right now. Put on some MRAP's with 49" tires. Only 13k miles on this one. Want to thank Vintage Iron for the tires and rims. Thanks to Peashooter for the wheel adapters. I used the suspension from a 103 trailer for the back. Chopped 34.5" off the frame. Using...
I have a question about a number that is on the backside of my hood. It is C-09-92. White numbers painted and about 1 1/2 talk. Anyone know what they mean?
I have Michelins ZXL's on mine, they are 46" tall and do not rub. These tires with HEMTT rims were about $4000. I have another deuce i'm bobbing and will be putting on MRAP rims with 49" tall tires at a cost of about $2000.. I may lift my third deuce with 2-3" blocks. These trucks really...
Hello, I am using the suspension from a M103 trailer (same suspension as a M105). My question is, what do I do if anything to where the spring mounts to the axle? Do I just set the spring on the axle and ubolt it on? Or do I need some type of mount in between?
Also does anyone have a diagram...
So I'm sure this question has been asked many times before but I read about 10 threads so far and haven't found the same problem.'
I bought a deuce it will not start. The fuel smells like paint thinner (think its been in there for 5+years). I can run the truck off starting fluid (just enough...
Hi all, I found some frame numbers on my truck. They are next to the drivers side tire area. I was wondering what info. they can tell? Would they be able to tell me the manufacturer and the year of my deuce? The numbers are: 0625 10122. Thanks in advance!
Let me clarify a little. Assuming that there are no identification numbers anywhere on the truck. Is there a way to tell who the manufacture is? Any differences in body, engine, suspension, etc....
Hi all, I was wondering if there is a way to tell which manufacturer built a deuce?( Ex. Jeep Kaiser, AM General) Other than the data plate on the dash?
Thanks for the help.
Hello, just bought an M109A3 (M35A2) with shelter in rear. I may bob the truck so I am thinking of either selling the box or using it as a shed. I am not sure what price range I should expect for it. It is in great shape, no leaks. Dont have pictures yet because the truck will not be home...
I need to have 3 deuces towed from Salem Mass. to Derry NH. The trucks will have to be winched on to a trailer. 1 has a communications box on it, 1 has the dropside bed, and the 3rd doesnt have any bed on it. They will be easily accessible and all roll niucely. The total mileage was almost 40...
Thanks everyone, would it still be worth buying if it is an M35 with the sprague transfer case? It has a plow and is on the road with 44k. Miles. Body looks decent so do the tires from what I can tell from pictures. Has a multifuel turbo. It's 3500.
Going to look at a deuce and a half which the owner says is an m36. Looks like an m35 to me but I am no expert nor do I know what the differences are. Anyway he said the truck is all wheel drive all the time. Are there AWD all the time deuce and a halfs? Anyone know the differences between...
Looking at a non turbo multifuel. I already have a turbo multifuel truck, just wondering if there are any differences in power, mileage, performance, etc.... Are they alot quieter, do they have mufflers? Thanks for any help.
