    M939A2 starter issue

@74M35A2 Contact member 74M35A2, he makes gear reduction starters for the 8.3 Cummins for these trucks (I still need to order one for mine too). Can’t beat the price nor service.

    Knuckle Boots

Easy rule to remember Budd nut tightening/loosening orders: if you have the handle of your wrench pointing upwards, they should tighten towards the front of the vehicle and loosen towards the rear.

    KC Lights Stopped Working

Those old KC bulbs use a lot of current (amperage)…I hope the switch goes through a relay to power those lights. If so, make sure the relay is securely mounted & its ground wire is good to go as well.

5 Ton wheel tire combo to have best scrub radius/track width match with 16.00 tires.

Those are 5-ton Combat Wheels; that owner probably experienced a little tire rub when making turns so he reversed the front wheels. Those front wheels should NOT be mounted like that….flip them around and they’d tuck right into the fenderwells. As 98G said, put some HEMTT wheels on the fronts...

    936A2 Gas Tank Problem

I had to use a 36-inch pipe wrench on one once, when strap wrenches wouldn’t budge it….once it broke free of corrosion, it came off by hand.

    wiring adapter

Been There Done That...and then some. Got tired of having so many problems & issues related to “easy” and “quick” fixes, I didn’t mind finally spending the money on the XM converter box...installed one on a Deuce as well, and both are still working flawlessly several years later. No regrets...

    wiring adapter

That’s the one I use, since 2015 so more than 6 years of use. NO problems whatsoever, I recommend it. Works great on semi-trailers, goosenecks, 5th-wheels, and bumper pulls.
